Why does an item in my box say it includes, “monk fruit (with erythritol)”?Updated 2 years ago

Often during production, monk fruit sweetener is blended with erythritol to taste and function like table sugar. Erythritol is a zero-calorie, artificial sweetener. 

We try to avoid as many artificial sweeteners as possible in our products, however, because this happens during the production phase it is at times unavoidable.
